Nothing is known of Becky's past. It is known she had a mother, who did not approve of her relationship with Ash.
Becky and Ash are first seen smoking marijuana with friends together outside the radio tower Ash works. They go inside the tower to listen for something on the radio, where both hear the fateful "Eden" broadcast. Though neither of the pair's friends pay much attention to it, Becky and Ash are entranced by the idea of escaping Glenley and finding a paradise where they won't have to live in fear.
Becky later suggests to Ash that they run away together. She is one of the townsfolk assigned to helping out on the farm after Bart's death, along with Ash and Darla. While at the farm one day, Glenley comes under attack by The General and his personal army, the 'Jugulators'. Becky, Ash and Darla take refuge in the farmhouse, until it begins to get overrun. They flee from the rooftops leaping down to escape in Declan's truck, but as a zombie descends on Darla from below, Becky fires a shotgun. She saves Darla but the recoil blast from the shotgun throws Becky off the roof. Her ankle bone is shattered, and she begs Ash to leave her as she will slow them down. He doesn't listen and carries her to the truck. However, a zombie grabs Becky and pulls her from Ash's grasp, biting her in the chest. Ash decapitates the zombie that bit her, but then sees her spewing wound and recognizes that it's hopeless. Using his crossbow, Ash fires an arrow right into Becky's eye and through her brain, providing a mercy kill to stop her suffering.
- Becky originally had a larger role planned in the story, she was going to be kidnapped by The General and Ash was to save her in the season finale. However, this felt too cliche and would've taken a lot of Ash's motivation to get revenge on The General away from Ben and focus it on Becky more. It ultimately felt unnecessary and her character was killed off.
