Eden Rising

Kid, did no one ever tell you not to believe in fairy tales?

— to Kelvin, referring to Eden, There Was No Calm Before This Storm

Bray was a recurring character featured in the second season of Eden Rising. He was an elderly and religious member of the Last Chance Society, who was also a skilled hunter.

HistoryEdit

Pre-seriesEdit

Not much is known about Bray's life before the apocalypse. All that is known is that John Smith saved Bray's life and introduced him to his community.

Season 2Edit

While hunting with Declan, Bray encountered Kelvin in the forest. Initially reluctant, Bray eventually agrees to take Kelvin with them back to their community. Bray expressed his belief that Eden did not exist, and that it was simply a 'fairy tale'.

It was revealed that Bray was among a few members who were in a secret society with Father Warden, working behind John Smith's back for an attempt at reconstruction. Bray and the others did not agree with the direction Smith was taking the community.

Bray later made a trip with John Smith, alongside fellow revolutionary member Kenneth, outside of the gates of the community after a loud explosion was heard. It was Kenneth's job to take out John Smith during this mission so that Father Warden could make a quiet transition into the leadership position, but after a car accident with members of the airport group, Kenneth was gravely injured and shot dead by John Smith to prevent reanimation. Bray tried to take over his job whilst walking back to the society, but his attempt at shanking John Smith left him only with a superficial wound. Smith beat Bray into submission and took him into an abandoned house, where he continued to beat the elderly man. After Bray pissed him off, Smith took aim at Bray's head and shot him in the face.

Killed VictimsEdit

  • Numerous counts of infected

TriviaEdit

  • Bray was the first new character from the Last Chance Society to be introduced.
    • Ironically, out of the multiple recurring faces from the community, Bray was also the first to die.
