Haynes is first seen with Corporal AJ Morgan in his tent when Annabelle Wheeler, Daisy Montgomery, Corporal James Cobalt and Staff Sergeant Donald Hawkins bring the survivors from the Yard to the camp. He inspects the group, mostly talking with Brooks, Ryo Osaka and Arrowhead. He later talks with Brooks about plans to return to Apex. Haynes reveals he has plans for that mission already and calls in Colonel Roscoe Jefferson
